The Christchurch Assembly hosted the New Zealand Convention for 2018, at ‘The Piano’ in central Christchurch. The theme for this year was ‘In His Image’ reminding us that we were created in God’s image, and now we’re called to have a connection to Him through the Holy Spirit experience. We were treated to a variety of talks on the theme, with speakers from all over New Zealand and Australia. The Piano (Christchurch Centre for Music and the Arts) was the venue for the convention and it had terrific acoustics. This meant amazing......
I grew up in a very loving family. We didn’t go to church, but I always believed in God. Never went without anything. Finished school started my first job. Not long after I was married. Due to the loss of my dad, a pregnancy which didn’t work out and having achieved financial goals, I began thinking there must be more to life. I started asking questions about life and God, went along to a friend’s church to see what it was like. I worked with a guy for seven years and noticed......
I wasn’t brought up in any religion and was open minded, always finding myself reading books about different philosophies and looking for truth and purpose in life. I was invited to a Revival Centres Church meeting and decided to get baptised in water to see if there was anything in this experience. I was praying and spoke in an unknown tongue in the baptismal tank and instantly knew God was alive, I’d found the truth and happiness I’d been searching for. In 1987 I had prayer for a damaged disc in my......
I met my husband and we married young, we had three children and were very happy. When I was 32 I had a stroke and went into a coma for ten days. When I woke up my right arm and leg were paralysed, I had palsy of the face and I couldn’t speak. I ended up in a wheelchair and became very angry and frustrated with my life. After having the stroke for ten years my husband left me and the children and when I turned 50 I was diagnosed with breast......

Chimwala, area pastor for Lilongwe (the capital of Malawi) and Pastor Bonongwe from Dedza also attended the Mozambique Easter rally. A wonderful time of talks, singing, items from the various assemblies, ministry and fellowship was had by all. Everyone contributed to the food for the weekend, although there is......
The Wellington Assembly hosted approximately 80 saints at Easter Camp in the beautiful surroundings of Tatum Park in Horowhenua. There was plenty to please everyone with a confidence course, flying fox, walking tracks, or places to just sit in the sun and fellowship with the saints. For the coffee lovers, there were afternoon excursions to Ruth Pretty Catering, about 10 minutes’ drive away, and shopping in her kitchen shop for those must have kitchen essentials. Back at camp, the saints were put into catering teams and these, combined with the outdoor dining......
