Freshwater Creek Christmas Camp

Freshwater Creek Camp was on again for another year! Located between Geelong and Torquay in the south of Victoria, the camp is owned by the Revival Centres Church. We started the day after Boxing Day with a night Communion Meeting, joined by the locals from the Bellarine Assembly. One of the highlights of camp was the talks from a wide range of speakers, with a variety of topics we were encouraged looking into the scriptures. The entertainment at the evening meetings was great, with Quiz nights, musical items and testimonies of what......

Victorian Junior Young Revivalists Camp

Another year, another September and another successful year of Young Revivalists’ Camp has passed. Nothing quite matches the excitement of fresh young faces arriving for camp at Weekaway. Full of expectation and a little apprehension, they launch themselves in to every moment with joy and occasionally reckless abandon. The 2015 camp was no exception. Kids came together from as far as Adelaide and Hobart, Victorian country and city assemblies to get to know one another and rejoice in the Lord. Every day was filled with new activities and a lot of noise.......

Sawtell Easter Weekend 2015

Sawtell Easter Weekend 2015 saw about 340 people come together from all over Aus and NZ. Baptisms and a person receiving the Holy Spirit went well as did the meetings with some of the best talent we’ve seen for a while. Presenters used the theme ‘The Resurrection and the Life’ to highlight God’s grace in these times and into the future. Someone said the meetings were electrifying and others were raving about the fellowship in Sawtell’s coffee shops. Must mention that we managed to raise some money for the missions with a......

Euro Youngies Camp 2015

Imagine alfresco dining eating croissants, coffee and freshly squeezed blood orange juice, while overlooking the ancient city of Verona. That’s how we ate our breakfast at the first Euro Youngies camp. We spent the Easter weekend 3-5 April, 2015 camping surrounded by nature on the grounds of an ancient castle, Castel San Pietro. We were all optimistic about the weather but it was chilly and were huddled under blankets, jackets and hats trying to keep warm. Thanks to the Platzer’s we had some extra bedding expressed delivered by Michael to make us all a......

Freshwater Creek Christmas Camp

Medieval jousting, chorus singing, bug swatting, chats over coffee, trivia, beach side lounging and listening to fantastic music: You’d think all these things had very little in common, yet they were all part of the fantastic Christmas Camp enjoyed at Freshwater Creek over the New Years’ break. Over the week, brethren were uplifted by talks from young to old with a range of topics which sent us in to the new year grateful for the Lord’s blessing in the year before and looking forward to preaching the gospel, spreading the word......
