The Christchurch Assembly hosted the New Zealand Convention for 2018, at ‘The Piano’ in central Christchurch. The theme for this year was ‘In His Image’ reminding us that we were created in God’s image, and now we’re called to have a connection to Him through the Holy Spirit experience. We were treated to a variety of talks on the theme, with speakers from all over New Zealand and Australia. The Piano (Christchurch Centre for Music and the Arts) was the venue for the convention and it had terrific acoustics. This meant amazing......
A week after the rally has wrapped up and I’m wondering how it all went so quickly. It was a full schedule, bursting at the seams and I left feeling similarly – bursting and full, uplifted, inspired, reminded of my calling as a child of the living God. The theme for this years’ rally – or rather, The Biennial Convention – was In His Presence. It seemed to also be naturally coupled with the idea of being in the presence of his people. In the presence of his people, I will praise......
Over 3 days, Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday, an Easter rally was held in Western Mozambique. Approximately 600 people from about 14 assemblies attended the rally. Pastor Bickiel Kiliyoni, the regional pastor for the Central and Northern regions of Malawi; Pastor B. Chimwala, area pastor for Lilongwe (the capital of Malawi) and Pastor Bonongwe from Dedza also attended the Mozambique Easter rally. A wonderful time of talks, singing, items from the various assemblies, ministry and fellowship was had by all. Everyone contributed to the food for the weekend, although there is......
We’ve just wrapped up a fantastic weekend of ministry, X talks, singing, testimony, in-the-dark flouro soccer, paddle boat races, battle of the bands, street evangelism and wonderful fellowship. This year’s New Zealand rally was held at the Wharewaka Function Centre at the Wellington Waterfront. The skies turned blue, the sun came out, the coffee and good times were plentiful. A wooden-floored meeting room certainly enhanced the already sensational chorus singing! With two people receiving the Holy Spirit and a list of others happy to be followed up – what’s not to like!......
Last weekend, the Melbourne assemblies played hosts to visitors from country assemblies to assemblies from other countries, for the Revival Centres’ Church Biennial Conference. The theme for the weekend was Speaking in Tongues and featured a talk from Pr Martin Murray about the anatomy and biology of what goes on in the brain when we pray in tongues and talks from Pr Simon Longfield and Pr Vic Samoilenko which emphasised the importance of using the miracle we’ve been given to preach the gospel wherever and whenever we can. No rally would be......
This year the New Zealand Rally was hosted by the saints in our most southern assembly – Dunedin. The sun shone warmly on Dunedin’s landmark Octagon as people from Australia and New Zealand assemblies handed out invitations to the weekend’s events. Meetings were held nearby in the refurbished hall that the Dunedin assembly had inhabited eight years ago. With a forward-looking theme ‘Fullness of times’, the talks, items and testimonies inspired those in attendance. The coffee flowed, the singing soared, the unity was engaging; it was superb on every level! A clear......
They came from all over Australia and New Zealand to meet on the Gold Coast for the Queensland State Rally. The theme for this year’s rally was “Life Changer” and the ministry and testimonies reflected the subject matter. Pastor Simon Longfield spoke on this life changing event, from the birth to the return of Jesus Christ. His presentations presented themes about us, the world, God, music and the future. Encouraging all to see the big picture Pastor Simon starts his presso for the week-end Who does this remind us of? Thanks Pr......
A good number of people from around the New Zealand assemblies and a delegation from Australia made the journey to this year’s rally hosted in Hawkes Bay. The weekend began with the customary ‘meet and greet’ on Friday evening; followed by a car boot outreach; rallies of ministry, music and testimonies; a unifying leaders’ meeting; battle of the bands; and a wind-down brunch on Monday morning. The theme was strong and inspiring, focusing on the wonders that lie ahead for those that remain steadfast and true to the purpose and plan of......
Thousands of saints came from all around Papua New Guinea for the 2014 National rally. The rain didn’t put a dampener on the wonderful time of fellowship had by all. Over the course of the weekend there were 52 baptisms. The Harris family travelled to PNG for the first time and had a wonderful time. The toughest part was trying to get them to go back to the hotel each night. Great job! Fantastic rally Pastor Wally and all the saints from Mount Hagen. Pastor David Manley RCI Palmerston North......
The Rally in Olney has just come to an end! Three days of ministry, music, testimony, and evangelism has left us feeling “inspired” to step it up a level in representing the message of Salvation to the masses. God hasn’t filled us with his Holy Spirit to just turn up to Church every Sunday. He has anointed us to represent his signs, wonders and miracles, in an ever increasing self indulgent world. This is our time! Get busy! Each and every Spirit filled person MUST take the initiative, use what God has......
