A Work begins in Nepal

Over the Christmas period, David and Bronwyn Kirwood went to Nepal for the express purpose of following up contacts that came from the Nepalese in the Brisbane Assembly.

Prior to going, much discussion with our main contact occurred via email. He and his wife had received the Holy Spirit and were wanting to spread the true message in Nepal.

They were warmly welcomed at the hostel, where 17 girls are being looked after. These girls, even before they received the Holy Spirit, had an incredible love and devotion to the Lord. All have now received the Holy Spirit with the Bible evidence of speaking in tongues.

Meetings were arranged with the families of our Brisbane Nepalese and with people from some of the villages who are searching for the true way. This resulted in 23 people being filled with the Holy Spirit. There may be others, but because of the language barriers it was hard to tell. There are about 20 others seeking for the Holy Spirit and David and Bronwyn were very impressed by the enthusiasm of the people.

In addition to these folk in Chitwan, many in Kathmandu were also interested in following the truth, but time didn’t permit a follow-up of these people at this time.

Since arriving back in Brisbane, continuing requests from three Tharu villages to either come back to provide further instruction, or to visit and spread the Word have been received. Fifty people have also asked for them to come to the Orissa district of India.

The Revival Centres Church was established after World War 2 in Australia, and has since grown into having assemblies around the world. We believe God is still answering people directly and personally today.
