Ballarat Dinner Night

On Saturday, the Ballarat Assembly hosted a Christmas Dinner Night at the Ballarat Revival Church. The Disney themed fancy dress was well attended with folk from Warrnambool and Geelong attending too. The night involved people getting up to do karaoke, with Mick Shiels doing his rendition of “I did it my Way”. The night was an opportunity to invite new people along and the chance to mingle on a social level, a great night was had by all.

On Sunday, Marian, a young lady who has been attending our fellowship decided that she would like to be baptised. Her family, consisting of Mum and three younger siblings have been coming along as well. They have really enjoyed our Sunday meetings and the younger kids are also involved in Sunday school. The family come from Togo a north west African nation, close to Ghana. They will be travelling back there on a holiday soon. They are keen to share their Holy Spirit experience with friends and family when they go back, and could be the opportunity to share the salvation message in another part of the world.
