Bellarine’s 21st Fancy Dress

Just before the chaos of the ‘grown-up’ musical chairs game.

Last Saturday the Bellarine Assembly hosted their annual 21st Fancy dress birthday with the theme of ‘Musicals’. The night kicked off with a communal BBQ tea before the creative talents of the assembly were displayed with the costume parade. The night continued with the Sunday School aged children playing musical chairs, this was followed by the violent/fight-to-the-death grown up version. Awards were given for the best dressed, with winners including the cast of the Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, Blues Brothers and Pirates of Penzance. After the sliming of the 21ster, dessert was served with the birthday cake distributed to the masses. A great time was had by all, see you next year.

  1. What a great night! Had a ball but being tinman from the Wizard of Oz had its drawbacks… I missed out on dinner, then got pushed over and couldn’t get up. Thank you Bellarine for such a memorable night!

  2. Tin man? But he had no heart. You’re all heart! – it must have required a lot of acting. Sounds like a fun night.

  3. Looks like good fun.

  4. Great night, I went as Nala!

  5. I think I need to have a chat to P.John for going to so much trouble dressing up! … PSL
