Brisbane, Queensland

The year is fast running out of days!  We know it is December, for the assembly has just completed the Sunday School and Revival Rangers presentations – and not to leave out the assembly Afternoon Tea breakup party.

The children of Sunday School – in costume – performed the song “Father Abraham” to the cheers of their parents. One of the best presentations I have seen in a long time – a credit to the teachers, parents and costume makers.

The Revival Rangers presented (via demonstrations) some of the activities they did throughout the year, supplemented throughout with a lively slide show.  This presentation showed the assembly some of the great things they get up to on a Friday night, and how busy they were all year.

The Afternoon Tea party can be described in a few words: ‘Food and how fast it disappears’.

Roll on 2014.  Our theme is ‘Changing your world’, with the message of salvation to the assembly and the world, as the Gospel is preached.
