We held our first combined fellowship in the QMC Hall on Sunday 2 October when Pastor Simon Longfield stayed in Brisbane after his trip to Papua New Guinea and was the guest speaker at our main meeting (see our earlier News item on PNG).
Pr Simon brought a report of the exciting times of revival continuing in PNG. He then spoke about our vision and the clarity of the Gospel to preach salvation to all.
The hall was full with Brisbane assembly members and visitors from the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast assemblies. There were also a number of people who stayed on after the wedding of Kyle and Bec.
The children’s camp had also just finished and we were all able to see the children perform their plays.
