Pastor Simon Longfield and I have just returned from Papua New Guinea after attending the funeral of Issac Wamin who died on Tuesday 3rd September 2019. I know many saints in PNG and Issac Wamin was one of them. From a young lad receiving the Holy Spirit in Vanimo, a town close to the border of West Papua, where he started his walk in the Lord. Having very little, he was able to create a trade store that grew into a supermarket (PNG style). After marrying Regina, he then moved to Aitape......
John and I arrived in Vanimo on Sunday afternoon after a great communion meeting in Wewak. PNG is known as the ‘Land of the Unexpected’ We didn’t expect that Pastor Issac would leave the car keys for our vehicle to drive to Amanab in Port Moresby. This unexpected event delays our start to Amanab on Monday as we had to wait for the keys to be flown in Monday afternoon. Tuesday 3:00 am dark – a convoy of vehicles set off for 6-8 hours drive into the heart of PNG jungle on......
After leaving Madang, we arrived in Wewak for oversight meetings, then a hall opening in Angoram which is a three-hour drive pothole fill road out of Wewak. The result was eight baptisms in the mighty Sepik river, all of them receiving the Holy Spirit. (Two more were baptised after the Sunday Communion Meeting). A three and a half drive back to Wewak, I think the potholes multiply while we were in the meeting. Sunday communion was held in the Wewak Town main centre. Singing, testimonies. A FaceTime call from Pastor Simon Longfield......
After leaving Brisbane on Monday 13th May, Pastor John Andrews and I flew to Port Moresby and then onto Madang which is on the central coast of PNG. With our stopover in Port Moresby we met up with Pastor Sacky Gebia and Dotaona Tasman, Pastors Urban Torowi, Issac Wamin and Vincent where we were brought up to date on things happen in the city. A new outer suburb hall is under construction, and we should get to see this when we return to the capital in two weeks. We arrive into Madang......
Great news! Two people were baptised and filled with the Holy Spirit on Sunday 26 March at the Revival Centres Church, Olney, UK. A Polish lady living in the Midlands in the U.K., came across the Polish Revival Centres Church website and being impressed by what she read, decided to contact Pastor Konrad to ask questions about revival and salvation. After a number of telephone conversations, Konrad invited her to the Sunday meeting in Olney in the U.K., as he and Lucia, his wife, were visiting us for the weekend. Anya, the Polish......
