Christmas Cheer in Geelong

The Bellarine Assembly was busily spreading Christmas cheer throughout Geelong by hosting the Twilight Christmas Market on the grounds of the church.

The car park was filled with market stalls and festive lights hanging from the trees as our local community was treated a one stop shopping experience for last minute Christmas gifts and culinary delights.  Not forgetting the need for coffee, the best coffee van in Geelong ensured we had the stamina to get through this festive evening and enjoy the mellow sounds of the band playing ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’.  Saints from all over Victoria supported this event and even hosted a stall or two.

The festivities continued the following morning when the Bellarine Assembly hosted the annual Carols and Christmas Service outreach which was attended by a number of visitors who had attended the night before.  We heard the message that God is a good father who has given a great gift in Jesus and who offers the infilling of the Holy Spirit to any who call on Him.
