Jesus called receiving the Holy Spirit the Promise of the Father. He told His disciples to wait for this wonderful gift. Jesus also said believers would speak in new tongues. At the instant of the Church’s beginning 2000 years ago, all 120 of the waiting disciples had this miraculous experience as they were filled with the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us that it is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died for us, rose again and who gives us the Holy Spirit.
God has not changed. You should not settle for anything less than this God-given, Bible-based confirmation of your believing. The testimony of our church is that everyone who asks for the Holy Spirit, with the Bible evidence of speaking in new tongues, receives this life-transforming experience. This free gift is available to all who will ask.
