Dem. Rep of the Congo

My report on visiting DRC Congo, I and Bikiel left Malawi on 27th of July, 2014 left for DRC Congo via Lusaka Zambia by bus. We spent 2 days in Lusaka waiting for Visa then later we took another bus from Lusaka to Ndola, Kitwe up to cross Kasumbalesa border to DRC Congo at Lubumbashi City where our brothers and sisters were waiting for us.

We began our meeting with 3 pastors and few officers. We were encouraging them to continue preaching the Gospel with sound doctrine. At the weekend we had a good time of fellowships with brothers and sisters in their Hall (Church). What encouraged us was to see some people receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and 45 water people baptised in water.

There are 2 assemblies in DRC, 1 is in Lubumbashi with 37 members, second one in Kolwezi with 94 members.

The main challenge when you visit DRC is the language barriers, the languages spoken are French and Swahili.
There is still fighting in some provinces of the country. But despite the challenges, DRC promises to be ripe for salvation and we are requested to be visiting them twice a year.

It becomes a necessity for us to keep them in prayers

There are Revival Centres in many parts of the world - some in third-world countries. Stories here target visits to our "Missions". All of our missions are completely run by locals, with occasional visits from people from other parts of the world.
