European Camp in Italy

European Camp in Italy

The European Camp at Valles, Italy.

As well as fellowship, items and all-around fun, time was spent considering our approach and our motivation. During a day-long seminar led by Pastor Simon and Pastor Geoff from Melbourne, working groups came up with thoughts and ideas on how we approach people. A lot of consideration was given to 1 Corinthians 13, and our motivation of love, and what that means for us.

Great encouragement to an audience of Polish, Italian, German, British, New Zealand and Australian saints. Professional translators were used for the day-long seminar – meaning that translation was given continuously (rather than saying something and then waiting for it to be translated). This provided a new insight for some of us into how passionate and engaged our saints who don’t speak English are with the gospel and the church. Yes we knew that, but with the language barrier removed it was exciting to hear.

Some of the saints here are far-flung from our more populous assemblies. Getting together and sharing testimonies shows us that God is not constrained by our natural thinking, but blesses the small numbers and the large.

Pondering our engagement with others, through love

Focusing on something serious. And, yes the cross on the wall came with the hall we rented, not really our style…

The Revival Centres Church was established after World War 2 in Australia, and has since grown into having assemblies around the world. We believe God is still answering people directly and personally today.
