Orford is situated on Tasmania’s East Coast about one hour’s drive north-east from Hobart. The
camp is located on a large bush setting at the end of Happy Valley Road, and a ten-minute walk
from beautiful Spring Beach.
Our annual camp is a wonderful time of fellowship. The meeting and activity format leaves
plenty of time for R & R and opportunity to join in with activities such as bush walking, beach
activities, basketball, volleyball, board games, cards and talking around the fire
The large hall facility allows us to have meals, meetings and other activities all together.
The camp is fully catered by the assembly (with all able bodies pitching in) and daily fees are
inclusive of accommodation and all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), with the exception of
26/12 when the kitchen is not open. Orford has several eat in and take away options.
There is dormitory style accommodation in a large hall complex. Room allocations will be made
on a ‘first in’ basis. Related family groupings will be accommodated together. If
accommodation is at a premium there will also be male and female dormitories for young
TENTS and CARAVANS
Many of the locals enjoy the peace and quiet of being out in tents and caravans. However the
