Warrnambool has once again planned an Easter Camp at Port Fairy, 25th to 28th March 2016.
Port Fairy is a historic maritime town located in the south-west of Victoria and very popular holiday location. The town boasts natural
rustic beauty, exhilarating walks, fabulous cafes and prime property. Visitors can enjoy beach activities (including surfing), indoor
swimming, tennis, picturesque drives (to Warrnambool, Towerhill, Koroit, etc) café lattes and much, much more.
The main accommodation is the Southcombe Lodge which consists of a hall adjoining an industrial kitchen, lounge and dormitory-style
rooms. Ablution and laundry facilities are also attached. Outdoor BBQ facilities and a children’s play equipment area are provided.
Other accommodation (cabins, caravans, apartments, and holiday houses) ranging from 2-5 stars may be available for the early bird.
ALL meetings will be at the old Reardon Theatre in Banks Street.
The Camp theme this year is “What Does The Bible Say “
Camp Dates: Friday 25th of March – Monday 28th of March (after lunch Friday )
Location: Southcombe Caravan Park (Southcombe Lodge, James St, Port Fairy)
Meetings/Concerts : Reardon Picture Theatre, Banks Street Port Fairy.
Accommodation: Bunk rooms ( 66 beds ) at the Lodge, Caravans and Cabins, Powered/Unpowered site facilities, and of course make
your “ own “ arrangements.
A hostel has been booked with bunk room style accommodation has been booked. This would be suitable for single people who are willing to share a room, families etc and is ideal for people on limited means. The rooms have shared bathrooms. Two rooms have bathrooms whoever these are restricted to families or people with special need. In order to keep the cost of the bunk room down it is necessary to fill as many beds as possible. It has been the experience in the past that the bunk room has filled quickly – and we fill it on a first come basis.
