Forster – Tuncurry Christmas Camp 2012-13

Forster – Tuncurry Christmas Camp saw numbers swell with a great mix of families and youngies contributing to the camp from all over NSW and as far away as Morwell -Victoria and Brisbane. For the 4th year running the Tuncurry Memorial Hall was our fellowship venue and the hall lights rarely dimmed with the saints catching up and sharing the past year’s news while the new coffee machine punched out hot coffees and chocolate.

There was plenty of blue sky for all our outdoor activities including beach days, boating and a learn to surf day, to name a few. Our ladies gathered for their annual Coffee Shop Talk Fest while the guys “held the fort”.

Our camp theme was  “let brotherly love continue” from Hebrews 13:1 and this topic was well expounded by our speakers. The accepted unity of the Spirit in camp was evident with great revival meetings, entertainment nights, special times of one on one fellowship and meals shared. Our extended morning prayer sessions were a blessing to all and provided an excellent time for the saints to pray together in the Spirit and to commit all our ways to the Lord.

Further good news was a  visitor from Mudgee attending camp received the Holy Spirit – speaking in tongues.

Thanks again to all our young musicians and visitors from afar. All in all, a great time to relax and a refreshing time in the Spirit.

Just what you’d expect from a RCI Christmas Camp.
