Freshwater Creek Christmas Camp

Freshwater Creek Christmas Camp

Medieval jousting, chorus singing, bug swatting, chats over coffee, trivia, beach side lounging and listening to fantastic music: You’d think all these things had very little in common, yet they were all part of the fantastic Christmas Camp enjoyed at Freshwater Creek over the New Years’ break.

Over the week, brethren were uplifted by talks from young to old with a range of topics which sent us in to the new year grateful for the Lord’s blessing in the year before and looking forward to preaching the gospel, spreading the word and uplifting one another in 2015. A myriad of musical talent was on display during the evening rallies, including some very bold and very entertaining children’s items.

Many enjoyed the hot days with a jaunt to the beach or enjoying one another’s fellowship in whoever’s caravan had the most powerful air conditioning.  Testimonies were shared, songs were sung, hymns were belted and all in all, the new year was celebrated in the best possible way: amongst the saints, looking forward to a new year of fellowship.
