Gathering in the Italian Alps

After an extended hiatus mainly due to Covid 19, a number have made the sojourn to the breathtaking area of South Tyrol in the village of Valles, Italy.

Folk from Australia, New Zealand, England, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, and Poland have just spent a week at the Pensione Gattererhoff, where the food was fantastic, the accommodation comfortable, and the fellowship even better.

The Pensione Gattererhoff takes on a very different perspective in the winter months, where it can be metres deep in snow with sub-zero temperatures. Whilst much of Central Europe has sweltered this summer season, most days were sunny with cool nights – perfect conditions!

Morning meetings, prayer sessions etc., were followed by a myriad of outdoor pursuits such as hikes, cable car rides, swimming, visits to historical sights, a visit to a mine, shopping, and sipping coffee in the local cafes.

After dinner each night, the Saints gathered, sang songs, shared testimonies and ministry – what’s not to like!

The highlight of the event were the two baptisms in the local river that was witnessed by the locals and tourists.

Wonderful fellowship, wonderful memories.

Thank you to those who worked so hard to create such a memorable event.
