Pastor Rob and his wife Gaye have just said their farewells to us all, as we depart after a magnificent weekend of fellowship and ministry.
After months of meticulous planning the Hobart Rally has sadly come to end. The weekend couldn’t have run better – even beautiful weather arrived, just in time, to greet us!
It was wonderful to see so many people from parts of Australia and New Zealand. The grey nomads (including me) were out in force with their RV rigs parked on the hall grounds; the whole of the RCC Wellington, New Zealand, assembly were there (well done Pastor Brett and Leslie); the Pastors’ and their wives from Dunedin and Palmerston North, NZ also crossed the ditch for the event. Sadly, a few from the South East Corner of Queensland had to cancel their travel plans due to the weather event that I’m sure you’ve seen on the news.
The Hobart Rally, which was held in lieu of our biennial Pastor’s conference, was a time of great encouragement for us all to make every moment count for the Lord. To build faith through our prayer lives via the wonderful miracle of Speaking in Tongues!
The weekend featured ministry from a number of the local younger people – and it was very good! There were great singing items from local and abroad too!
RCC members of Ulverstone, Launceston, and Hobart, we salute your efforts! Thank you!
We’re planning something similar in Perth, 2027. It’d be great to see you there, or perhaps bump into you crossing the world famous Nullarbor!
God bless.
Pastor Simon
