After leaving Brisbane on Monday 13th May, Pastor John Andrews and I flew to Port Moresby and then onto Madang which is on the central coast of PNG. With our stopover in Port Moresby we met up with Pastor Sacky Gebia and Dotaona Tasman, Pastors Urban Torowi, Issac Wamin and Vincent where we were brought up to date on things happen in the city. A new outer suburb hall is under construction, and we should get to see this when we return to the capital in two weeks.

We arrive into Madang with hearty PNG welcome, holding a full oversight meeting on Tuesday. The work in this zone has seen good growth in all assemblies. Pastor Paul Poso is the zone pastor for the Madang Zone has excellent leadership and a fantastic town centre where we held our mid-week meeting.

Pastor John Andrews spoke on the “Love of God” from I Corinthians 13, and I spoke on the “Prodigal Son” from Luke 15.
