Malawi & Kenya Trip Report

I’ve just had a wonderful week in Malawi with Pastor Vic.

What started out as a low key visit to see Pastor Nelson and his team quickly morphed into a full scale series of conferences.

Two days in Blantyre with over 245 Pastors from Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe, then a full day with the senior Pastors, then a second two day conference in Lilongwe with another different 124 Pastors representing Malawi and Mozambique. Sadly, many others weren’t able to make the journey from afar. Hopefully, we’ll see them next time!

With too many topics to mention, the following areas were covered at length in our discussions: diligence, closeness to God, the Apostle Paul, Bible prophecy, marriage, our temples, our calling. On a number of occasions, the Pastor’s burst into spontaneous song – “fanana”, which means Christ within! It really was amazing!

We also squeezed in a couple of full scale church meetings with the assembly folk in Dezda and Mkalema that included all the usual ingredients that one would expect – people receiving the Holy Spirit, powerful testimonies and vibrant singing. I was able to minister on “superstition” and how this can cause us to fear, which is the opposite of what God has given us, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”  (2 Timothy 1:7) The topic was timely and well received!

After a pretty hectic week, Pastor Vic has headed back down south to Blantyre to spend more time encouraging and I have just spent two days with leaders from Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania in Nairobi. Due to some potential civil unrest I didn’t leave the hotel and we had many hours of questions, encouragement, scripture and prayer! It was fabulous!

I truly feel blessed to be helpful and involved in this way!

There are Revival Centres in many parts of the world - some in third-world countries. Stories here target visits to our "Missions". All of our missions are completely run by locals, with occasional visits from people from other parts of the world.
