Melbourne Gospel Concert

Last Saturday night the Melbourne Assembly hosted a Gospel concert at the Melbourne Revival Centre, or ‘The Box’ as it’s known. In the lead up to the event, members of the local assembly had been out in the community promoting the concert.

The nights programme included bands such as ‘Temple of the Son’, ‘VanGray’ and ‘Many or Few’, with songs from Graham Argus too. All songs with a Gospel message inspired by God across a wide range of styles from Acoustic to Rock.

The evening was well supported by members of the local assembly with many visitors joining in for the entertainment. Sprinkled through the evening we heard personal stories of what God had done in people’s lives, being filled with the Holy Spirit, as the Bible says. A huge effort from the bands, audio, lighting, catering, and outreaching crews to name a few. Thanks to everyone who made it such a great night!

The Melbourne assembly in Australia began just after World War 2. It is the headquarters for the Revival Centres Church globally. It is composed of three centres: Central (in Box Hill), Southern (in Mt Eliza) and Western (in Williamstown).
