Melbourne Western: A Comfortable Meeting Place

Pastor Simon visited the saints at the Western assembly of RCI Melbourne on Sunday.

For two weeks the brothers and sisters have been fellowshipping in their beautifully renovated hall. A long time lease has been signed on this local hall which was in need of some repair. For years, the continuing joke was about “the big crack in the wall!” Not any more! A beautiful entrance foyer; new carpets; modern colours; bathrooms; and hi-tech projection and audio!

Great meetings, ministry, testimonies, choruses, fellowship, were enjoyed as the folk in the west settle into this great new centre!

Let’s hope and pray that many will come to know the Lord as the Gospel is faithfully preached at Williamstown!

The Melbourne assembly in Australia began just after World War 2. It is the headquarters for the Revival Centres Church globally. It is composed of three centres: Central (in Box Hill), Southern (in Mt Eliza) and Western (in Williamstown).

  1. Hey, it looks great.

I will miss the crack in the wall, though (but only because of the Doctor Who link).

  2. Wonderful to see old familiar faces in Western.

Just shows that, if you persist, regardless of your circumstances, God lifts you up again.
