Orford TAS Christmas Camp

by

Over the Christmas and New Years break, the saints from the assemblies in Tasmania, as well as many visitors from the big island, converged once again at Spring Beach on the beautiful east coast of Tasmania.

The fully catered camp was enjoyed by around 100 saints, who participated daily in activities such as kayaking, archery, bush walks, swimming, and visiting Salamanca Markets. The weather was fantastic and the water was a bracing 18.5 degrees, but the daily prayer meetings and the evening fellowship meetings, along with delicious meals and coffee machine on site certainly kept the saints full of energy!

The saints also got to help in the kitchen for half a day, joining the often rowdy wash up teams and playing board games and sharing testimonies until the wee hours. Finally, the New Years celebrations were themed around “Where’s Wally” and we all enjoyed the variety of items from some very talented saints! What a fantastic, exciting and relaxing time for all of the saints! See you next year…
