Papua New Guinea – The Land of the Unexpected

Each year at Christmas time there are a number of camps held in the country over the Christmas week-end. There was a camp at Yawasoro near Wewak where 55 people were baptised in water and received the Holy Spirit. Well over 1000 people attended this camp with folk coming from all over the district. Pastor Edward reports of a great time of fellowship and closeness with all the brothers and sisters.

A 2nd camp was held up in the Highlands in a place called Kuk, and at this camp, 17 people were baptised and received the Holy Spirit.

The 3rd camp this year was on Good Enough Island and they had 19 people baptised and received the Holy Spirit. Pastor Sacky and Dotaona reports the camp was well attended considering the difficulties of getting to the island. A 2 day boat trip from Port Moresby and then a day an a night boat trip to Good Enough Island, all with a Cyclone in the Coral Sea.

There are Revival Centres in many parts of the world - some in third-world countries. Stories here target visits to our "Missions". All of our missions are completely run by locals, with occasional visits from people from other parts of the world.
