Pastor David Manley and I have recently returned from our trip to PNG.  We began with a few days in Port Moresby, catching up with our good friends Pastors Sacky and Deotona who look after the three local centres.  We had a great Sunday meeting, always welcoming and encouraging.

The balance of the trip was in the New Britain islands, visiting Kimbe, Rabaul and Buka.  These assemblies are remote and come with their own unique administrative challenges.  The local oversight are happy for our input and perspective.

While in Rabaul we had a quick look at the active volcano with Pastor Dixon and a few of the guys.  Our final meeting was in Buka where we were invited to cut the ribbon for the opening of their hall extension.  Great meeting!

That Sunday we also met some saints that came from Bougainville to introduce themselves and with them was a fellow who was baptised after the meeting. The church in PNG continues to prosper, the little that we do from time to time helps the local leaders to keep up their good work.
