My parents introduced me to the truth about the gospel when I was a child. I knew I had to repent, as I couldn’t achieve my own righteousness.
The Lord gave me that same powerful proof described in Acts 2 in the Bible. I asked Him for the Holy Spirit and knew without a doubt that He had answered when I miraculously spoke out in a fluent language that I had never learnt. I’ll never forget that moment and tears of joy flowed as I felt an amazing peace and happiness.
I knew for certain that God had recreated me and made me His child and was now living inside me. What an incredible miracle! I was baptised by full immersion in water shortly after.
It is so comforting to be aware of God’s infinite love and mercy. He answers my prayers for healing, provision and guidance. Colds and flu have abruptly disappeared and so has a basal cell carcinoma which the doctor wanted to cut out. There are many other needs answered during the last 60 years – too numerous to list. He is real and He is faithful.
Three years ago, I was diagnosed with anxiety depression when my marriage failed. I was in the depths of despair but the Lord miraculously healed me, giving me hope, peace and real joy.
The following scripture is very meaningful to me: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil 4:13.
My Lord will never leave me or forsake me and I’m longing for His return.
