Popendetta – Papua New Guinea
by Mission News
At the end of the Kokoda Trail is a town called Popendetta that a few years ago was devastated by a cyclone. The main town and road to the airport with its many bridges were washed away. Crops and huts were destroyed, but now slowly they are rebuilding their lives. In Popendetta you can find our Revival Centre; a small group of Spirit Filled Saints standing steadfast in the work. (RCI Missions helped them get back on their feet after the cyclone.)
Pastor Joe has sent via email how that in January of this year, one person came to a meeting to hear about the things of God, was baptised and received the Holy Spirit. Following this one voice another 30 people have been baptised. Popendetta is no longer a small group of Saints in PNG. Many wonders are happening right now in this place.

I love how things happen in PNG. The difference that is made when people are ready to listen.
At present, Pastor Darcy Ryan here on RCI Mission into PNG to conduct the ordination for New Zone Pastor Bonny Kineu. The Church in Papua New Guinea is growing fast and needs Bishops to look after the flocks.
The Harvest is Ready thus needs more workman.
