Young and old gathered, some new, some seasoned to the Port Fairy Easter camp. Port Fairy a cozy seaside town that offers lush green pastures, riverside fishing, many walks, excellent surf and an abundance of quality cafes with homemade delicacies. What a great retreat for a weekend away of fellowship.
The usual icy wind and grey skies were absent this year, replaced by a welcome ray of sun and gorgeous blue skies. All came together at nighttime and morning for fun fellowship and spiritual inspiration in a well-worn cinema.
Rousing songs were sung and diverse entertainment was provided by the campers each night to great applause. We were unified by the great thoughts given and the outstanding testimonies of God’s work in people’s lives. It was an uplifting and fun camp with campers going on various outings such as: cave exploration, beach walks and antiquing which were all fueled by copious amounts of coffee pit stops throughout the day.
What shone through at this camp was the earnest love everyone had for God, although we are all different, it is God who brings us together and unifies us with his great spirit.
