Pottsville Christmas Camp

About 50 saints, plus children, gathered at Pottsville Beach on the NSW north coast, for the annual Christmas Camp this summer.  We enjoyed great weather – if a little hot for some occasionally – and plenty of fellowship with various activities.

Activities included tennis, volleyball, several golf days, board games and card nights (including nights of ’500′), and good surfing and swimming days.

Inspiring ministry talks encouraged us to remember that, through all the circumstances of life our hope in the expectation of what we believe and hold fast to, is ‘An Anchor of Our Soul’ – the theme for this year’s Camp.

We commenced our New Year’s Eve celebration with a fellowship barbecue tea starting at 6 o’clock followed by a variety of entertainment, ministry, supper, more entertainment and ministry, and then heralded in the New Year with prayer and rejoicing.  The theme for the night was ‘On the High Seas’ which caught everyone’s imagination.  A Spirit-filled man came that night and, as he had not been baptised, we baptised him on New Year’s Day, 2014.
