RCI Liberia and the Ebola crisis
by Talks Team
A short time ago some money was despatched from the Mission Fund to help the saints in Monrovia, Liberia. This determination was made in liaison with Pastor Cooper, to combat the escalating Ebola crisis in Western Africa.
Since then, items have been procured to help protect individuals from the transfer of the virus. Surgical masks, gloves, disinfectants, water containers, and a larger water tank are now being carefully utilised by members of our assemblies in Monrovia.
Pastor Cooper has also taken it upon himself to ensure that Church members are thoroughly educated in all aspects of personal hygiene and food preparation, as there is a lot of misinformation and fear in the local people.
Pastor Cooper emails …
Hi Sir,
It is indeed exciting to know that the members of RCI in Liberia are very much grateful to you for the support. We appreciate each one of our supporters for their precious donation towards this venture at this crucial time, may God replenish you all. I have attached the receipts and some photos for your viewing. Thanks for understanding.
Joyful regards.

I have been following this story in the media and have come to know how dangerous this virus is getting out of hand. Our prayers go out to all the saints in Liberia as well as those in your country.
Pastor Cooper keep up the good work, as you serve the Lord faithfully.

Praise The Lord, we all appreciate the Liberian Saints standing on the gospel of salvation and the great and mighty promises of his word. May The Lord protect you all and deliver an amazing testimony in this name.
God bless you all.
It is great to hear that saints in every corner of the earth are about our fathers business. Notwithstanding our race culture education or economic position the Lord faithfully fills believing souls with the promised holy ghost.
With this promise we receive kinship as sons and daughters of the LIVING GOD, and we know with surety that God has a care for his children. Even more so when challenges strike like this dreadful epidemic. It is so reassuring to know that God is a gracious and healing God. Be strong and of good courage, for the Lord thy God is with you. It was wonderful to talk to you recently P. Cooper. Our prayers are with you and the saints there to stand strong and continue to preach the gospel in these last days. Surely the signs mentioned in the Bible are all so prevalent in the world these days. God bless from Townsville. Geri.
It brings home to us here in Australia the “extra” problems our Brothers and Sisters face in some overseas areas. The Lord is totally faithful to all His Saints, however, we have basic life easy in comparison to some and the reward God has for us all is eternal life in His Kingdom.
We all obtain the “penny a day” from our Heavenly Father and there is no respect of persons with Him, praise God.
