Saints go 140 Meters Underground
On Saturday 5 January 2013 some saints from Norwich, Olney and London (including Pastor John from Melbourne) got a ‘hands on’ and dirty experience of what life was like for coal mining families in the early 1800s.
After travelling to West Yorkshire we went 140 metres underground to experience an educational and fun tour of a coal mine. Afterwards we had some time of fellowship while enjoying a nice hot cup of tea.
