Personal Story: Peter

Hi, I’m Peter. I come from Tyrol and have been a musician for most of mylife. However, I’ve always felt that there must be something more importantin life than having a career or looking good in the eyes of people. Before I came to God, I was a very lazy and selfish person who alwayshad to do his own thing. In 2019 I started reading the Bible and tried to find analytical evidence ofwhat happened in the Bible. A band colleague of mine said somethingabout this that I have not forgotten to......

Personal Story: Ewa

My name is Ewa and I grew up in a catholic family where we followed all the traditions. I always loved going to church, but even though I was praying to God daily, I knew that I didn’t really know Him. During a difficult time in my life I started praying even more, but God didn’t answer me, so I started reading many religious books and also the Bible, which I didn’t understand. I asked God to show me how to be right with Him, because I knew that I didn’t live......

Personal Story: Harry

My walk with God started from an early age. I was brought up in a family that believed in God and looked to him for all things, so I always knew there was something bigger planned. But it wasn’t until I was 12, at one of our Youth camps that I felt compelled to really see what it was all about. I thought about why I want to be a part of God’s plan; the peace and comfort, miracles, a hope. I humbled myself and reached out and I was filled with......

Harrietville Camp

Harrietville Camp was a great success this year with people coming from as far as Queensland and Tasmania, plus all states and territories in between. Pastor Simon joined us from Monday to Wednesday and ministered to us on the Middle East; he and others entertained with music and song. The ministry started with the importance of unity and each talk dovetailed neatly from there until the conclusion of camp. Singing, poetry, jokes and great testimonies were enjoyed and fun and laughter permeated the chalets. One and all were happy they had made......

New Zealand Wellington Rally

We’ve just said our goodbyes after a marvellous weekend of fellowship in Wellington, New Zealand. The ministry was on point; the communal singing was heart-felt; the items were wonderful. With so much going on in the Middle East, and generally around the place, it was such a blessing to gather with like-minded saints. The theme of the Rally was broadly taken from the Gospel of Mark chapter 10:27, where Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” Pastors from the North and......

Melbourne Convention 'The Peace of God'

The Melbourne assembly hosts the Revival Centres Church Conference biannually and this year’s theme was ‘The Peace of God’. The conference runs over the Queen’s Birthday weekend and is attended by our Victorian, interstate and international assemblies. The visitors came in droves to rejoice and be edified by presentations, songs and the communion of saints. Melbourne, known for having four seasons in one day, decided to put on only one type of weather display this weekend, rain. With plenty of layers, hot beverages and enthusiastic singing of songs the weather did not......

Personal Story: Francis

My name is Francis Khembo, I am from Malawi Africa. I was born in 1985 in a family of seven children. I was brought up in a Catholic church because that’s where my parents used to fellowship in those days; at this time, I didn’t know anything about the Lord. But when I was 17 years old, I met one of the pastors from Chirimba Revival Centre’s church who talked to me about Jesus Christ and receiving the power of the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in tongues. It was......

Personal Story: Carl

I used to be of the opinion that religious people were weak and insipid. My own philosophy was to enjoy all that life had to offer without thinking too much about the consequences. In time my attitudes began to change, and I started to take an interest in the Bible and its message of salvation through Jesus Christ. I began to visit a multitude of church denominations, asking questions and seeking advice on how to live the Christian life, but realised after about a year that living a Christian life was an......
