Sunday

Reboot Sawtell Easter Weekend held Easter Friday to Monday at the Toormina High School. They said at last God’s work in real time, refreshing and building. You just have to admire what God does with us individually in this new testament age. Songs, poetry, personal recaps, ministry, and lot’s of very cool fellowship with all ages from little rugrats to the older generations, everyone has something to say. We are all ready to go next year unless the Lord returns and this mortal puts on immortality. Images by Kenneth Wilkins...

Freshwater Creek Easter Camp VIC

Over the Easter long weekend, Freshwater Creek hosted a 4 day camp with the theme ‘The Refreshing’, Isaiah 28v12. We started off on the Friday morning with a prayer meeting, music and ministry. The long weekend brought unseasonably warm weather for Easter in Victoria which resulted in many visits to the beach, pool and plenty of fellowship at the communal BBQ’s around the rotunda. Following the morning meeting on Saturday, after some supervised stretches, the annual Kids Colour Run was held which involved a lot of running, ducking, screaming and bursts of......

Forster (NSW) Christmas Camp

The Forster Christmas camp this year was a time of spiritual refreshing and renewing friendships. The camp theme “Nourished in the Word and Prayer” was our thought focus and an expectation that was fulfilled. We were well able to enjoy the ample prayer times, bible-based talks, fun time entertainment nights and relaxed social times. Camp activities included early morning walks and swimming, ladies and men’s lunches, boating, a BBQ breakfast, games of table tennis, pizza movie night and a fireworks display. The Tuncurry Memorial hall is again booked for our 2020 Christmas......

Cool Christmas at Coolum Beach

The Coolum Christmas Camp held in South East Queensland, Australia and was a load of fun for all that attended. Aside from the perfect weather, and beautiful beach conditions, the ongoing fellowship put smiles on everyone’s faces, and created great memories. We all enjoyed the fun filled meetings, items which provided both entertainment and great spiritual content. The relaxing camp ran for a week, with an “extended extra fellowship week” for those who hung around. The night entertainment items included several songs, skits and even the kids jumped up to show case......

Melbourne Youngies Launch Camp

Over the Australia Day weekend the Melbourne Youngies made their way to Freshwater Creek for the annual launch camp. The weather turned it on with warm days so we could spend our afternoons frolicking in the sun at rivers and beaches and spending some quality time with our fellow brethren. There was plenty to do with people joining in on Finska, beach cricket, water frisbee, back of the bus and much sunscreening. Each morning started with breakfast prepared by some of our young people and the last day Eddy Vanderstadt graciously filled......

Forster-Tuncurry NSW Christmas Camp

This year’s RCC Forster/Tuncurry Christmas Camp was well supported by Queensland and NSW saints. Cool north-east winds and clear skies provided a good back drop for outdoor activities, including walking trips, fishing, swimming, New Year’s fireworks, a breakfast BBQ by the river and yoga style exercises. The ladies’ coffee afternoon at Green Point went well. And the guys, not to be outdone, went to Hamiltons for coffee by the river. Our camp theme, “Abide in him” 1John 2 :28, was explored by our speakers and helped to give a sense of what......

Melbourne Christmas Production ‘A Song For Christmas’

‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…’ This December, the Melbourne assembly immersed itself in all things Christmas, proudly presenting the musical production ‘A Song For Christmas’, written and directed by Richard Gaarenstroom and Sandra Mau. ‘A Song For Christmas’ saw itself set in the quaint and idyllic setting of 1950s America, where the snow falls softly outside, carols play from the wireless, trees are decorated with tinsel and stars and families come together to partake in the joys of Christmas… and this year was no exception for the Deluca family.......
