Melbourne Youngies Fancy Dress

Last Saturday was the annual 21st Fancy Dress at The Box. The theme was TV COMEDY. After 2 years of this event being unable to be held, it was extra special to be able gather together to celebrate. Many young people were in at the Box Hill hall multiple nights during the week to work on the sets and decorations for the event. It all came together and looked fabulous. There were set ups for Friends, Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Seinfeld and even a Bluey themed jumping castle. People turned up......

Brisbane Assembly Bonfire

The Brisbane Revival Centre enjoyed a chilly evening celebrating Christmas in July with a mesmerising Bonfire that was a centrepiece for the 130 in attendance. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and sharing with folks visiting from the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba assemblies for the evening.  The catered event was the largest on the Brisbane assembly’s social calendar in recent years and was an outstanding success with 8 new visitors who enjoyed the night of Bonfire items including carols and home-grown songs and talent.  The night concluded with Pastor......

Port Fairy Easter Camp VIC

Have you heard of me? This was the question asked to all those that attended the Port Fairy Easter camp. Every year, the Warrnambool assembly hosts the Easter camp that is attended by visitors from both near and far. This year, we had visitors from all around Victoria, and interstate visitors from Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.  With four days full of entertainment, uplifting conversations and the sharing of personal stories, it is most definitely worth the journey. From the moment of arrival, the weekend was in full swing, there......

Sawtell Easter Camp NSW

The Coffs Harbour assembly hosted the Sawtell Easter Camp with the theme ‘Making a Difference’. We were treated to ministry straight from the scriptures with speakers from across Australia; even as far as Canada. There was encouragement to make a difference in our assembly, looking after each other (Mark 12v29-31) and preaching the Gospel in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4v2). The gospel music was pumping with choruses and plenty of items, praising God and encouraging everyone at the meetings. Camp was a great opportunity to fellowship during and after......

Cool Christmas at Coolum Beach

The Coolum Christmas Camp held in South East Queensland, Australia and was a load of fun for all that attended. Aside from the perfect weather, and beautiful beach conditions, the ongoing fellowship put smiles on everyone’s faces, and created great memories. We all enjoyed the fun filled meetings, items which provided both entertainment and great spiritual content. The relaxing camp ran for a week, with an “extended extra fellowship week” for those who hung around. The night entertainment items included several songs, skits and even the kids jumped up to show case......

Highlands PNG Hall Opening

It was one of the great experiences for me to travel such a distance, from pmv to motor canoe, going up some 100km to reach the location of a Church hall opening. The new RCC hall is located near the Highlands, in a small village called Mamari. We had 6 baptisms; one was an older lady who hadn’t walked for 15 years. On Saturday Morning after being baptised, she got a healing, able to walk by herself. God is so wonderful!...

Magnetic Island ‘True North’ Youth Rally

To everyone else in Australia it was a frosty weekend. However, For the RCC Youngies, it was a time of beautiful sunshine as we all headed to the magnificent Magnetic Island. This years theme was True North, and learning to utilise our inner compass, the Holy Spirit, to continue to align ourselves with True North. Friday we all ventured via ferry to Magnetic Island and spent the day down at Horseshoe Bay. Some were lucky enough to see koalas, go kayaking or simply feed a lorikeet or two.
