The Melbourne Biennial Convention was scheduled to be held on the Queen’s Birthday weekend, but due to Corona Virus restrictions, we had to cancel. Rolling with the changes, the RCC Convention moved online! Two streams were broadcast on the Saturday and Sunday 4pm Melbourne time, we were treated to a diversity of encouragement from God’s word. We enjoyed a variety of talks, many from newly minted Pastors, musical items and testimonies of God working in people’s lives. A highlight were the live crosses to Dunedin in New Zealand, London/UK and to Newcastle......
On the last weekend of October members from the six assemblies from the North and South Islands of New Zealand, a good representation from Australia, and Pastor Apenisa from Sigatoka, Fiji, met in Auckland. This annual gathering took on a different approach this year by being held at the Waipuna Conference Centre. With most visitors staying at the venue, which included some first-class catering and meeting arrangements all under the same roof – it was wall to wall convenience. The venue worked very well, especially for those who had journeyed from abroad.......
Heartbeat, we all have one if we are alive. God gave man seventy or eighty years give or take, free of charge. He told man to have dominion in the world. However, mankind didn’t listen to God and went his own way – well, how has that turned out. God gave us His Son. He loved us that much, to allow His only begotten to spill his blood to fix the problem mankind has caused. Jesus has given those that believe “His Words”, a new heart, one that beats the Words of......
To everyone else in Australia it was a frosty weekend. However, For the RCC Youngies, it was a time of beautiful sunshine as we all headed to the magnificent Magnetic Island. This years theme was True North, and learning to utilise our inner compass, the Holy Spirit, to continue to align ourselves with True North. Friday we all ventured via ferry to Magnetic Island and spent the day down at Horseshoe Bay. Some were lucky enough to see koalas, go kayaking or simply feed a lorikeet or two. The afternoon rolled around......
The Christchurch Assembly hosted the New Zealand Convention for 2018, at ‘The Piano’ in central Christchurch. The theme for this year was ‘In His Image’ reminding us that we were created in God’s image, and now we’re called to have a connection to Him through the Holy Spirit experience. We were treated to a variety of talks on the theme, with speakers from all over New Zealand and Australia. The Piano (Christchurch Centre for Music and the Arts) was the venue for the convention and it had terrific acoustics. This meant amazing......
A week after the rally has wrapped up and I’m wondering how it all went so quickly. It was a full schedule, bursting at the seams and I left feeling similarly – bursting and full, uplifted, inspired, reminded of my calling as a child of the living God. The theme for this years’ rally – or rather, The Biennial Convention – was In His Presence. It seemed to also be naturally coupled with the idea of being in the presence of his people. In the presence of his people, I will praise......
Over 3 days, Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday, an Easter rally was held in Western Mozambique. Approximately 600 people from about 14 assemblies attended the rally. Pastor Bickiel Kiliyoni, the regional pastor for the Central and Northern regions of Malawi; Pastor B. Chimwala, area pastor for Lilongwe (the capital of Malawi) and Pastor Bonongwe from Dedza also attended the Mozambique Easter rally. A wonderful time of talks, singing, items from the various assemblies, ministry and fellowship was had by all. Everyone contributed to the food for the weekend, although there is......
We’ve just wrapped up a fantastic weekend of ministry, X talks, singing, testimony, in-the-dark flouro soccer, paddle boat races, battle of the bands, street evangelism and wonderful fellowship. This year’s New Zealand rally was held at the Wharewaka Function Centre at the Wellington Waterfront. The skies turned blue, the sun came out, the coffee and good times were plentiful. A wooden-floored meeting room certainly enhanced the already sensational chorus singing! With two people receiving the Holy Spirit and a list of others happy to be followed up – what’s not to like!......
Last weekend, the Melbourne assemblies played hosts to visitors from country assemblies to assemblies from other countries, for the Revival Centres’ Church Biennial Conference. The theme for the weekend was Speaking in Tongues and featured a talk from Pr Martin Murray about the anatomy and biology of what goes on in the brain when we pray in tongues and talks from Pr Simon Longfield and Pr Vic Samoilenko which emphasised the importance of using the miracle we’ve been given to preach the gospel wherever and whenever we can. No rally would be......
This year the New Zealand Rally was hosted by the saints in our most southern assembly – Dunedin. The sun shone warmly on Dunedin’s landmark Octagon as people from Australia and New Zealand assemblies handed out invitations to the weekend’s events. Meetings were held nearby in the refurbished hall that the Dunedin assembly had inhabited eight years ago. With a forward-looking theme ‘Fullness of times’, the talks, items and testimonies inspired those in attendance. The coffee flowed, the singing soared, the unity was engaging; it was superb on every level! A clear......
