Tania: Personal Story

Tania

From an early age, I was constantly interested is the things of God and the purpose of life. I had sought this understanding through religion and institutions, gaining a lot of philosophic knowledge along the way, still remaining hungry for a close relationship with our Maker. After meeting several people who told me their account of healing and overcoming some tough experiences whilst reaching out to God and receiving the Holy Spirit, I pursued in my heart to go after this on my own.
At a time when I really needed God to help me and show me if He was real, namely losing my drivers licence for a year due to a drink driving offence (at that time, I drove around 600 kilometres/week for my work), I started speaking in another language and from that moment was convinced that this sign was a tangible and real experience with God. This was also confirmed to me in several parts of The Bible. The Bible also became a more than just a document but the written evidence of what I sought in my heart.

I started to believe and understand in the account and teaching of Jesus Christ. Even parts of the Old Testament (which previously were incomprehensible to me) became clear and my understanding grew and continues to grow over the last 9 years. I have been healed of chronic back pain, allergies, alcohol bingeing and heartache after praying and having people pray for me. I have seen wonderful and powerful healing after praying for people too. I have seen a baby with jaundice healed whilst in my hands, a person desperate for a job receiving work within a week, a person with a collapsed lung healed within 24 hours and several more accounts like this that I continue to list.

My work career has been abundantly blessed, and no matter what tight and impossible circumstances that have occurred in the work place, The Lord has seen me through even the most hopeless situations. I am so grateful to have the life I have now, and wish the very same for each human being. It a privilege to do His work and encourage others to have a relationship with God and see them transform after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and receiving God’s Holy Spirit. But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” Matthew 19:24-28.
