Tanzania Visit Report

Today I went to the RCC meeting at Kigamboni in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. It took me 2 hours to reach there – 3 kms on foot, a 5-minute ferry ride, a 25-minute ride in a shared minibus and another minute on foot. The singing, like all the singing in Africa and the Pacific Islands was wonderful as were the many testimonials, especially that of P. Michael’s miraculous recovery.

A couple of weeks ago, he was virtually at death’s door and Jonathan, who is a doctor, feared for his father’s life. Now, as a result of everyone’s prayers, he is able to stand, walk a bit, talk and eat. P. Jonathan said that he will probably be home in 2 weeks’ time. So, thank you everyone for your prayers. The meeting was run along the lines of any RCC meeting, singing, praise, opening prayer, testimonies, collection, talk from the Bible, prayer line and more testimonies.

One young man, who received the Holy Spirit in the prayer line, couldn’t wait to give his testimony of how much joy and peace he felt and that the bad dreams, from which he had been suffering left him. He felt free. It was a wonderful time of meeting fellow saints and sharing our testimonies. Great to see a new assembly rejoicing in the Lord.

There are Revival Centres in many parts of the world - some in third-world countries. Stories here target visits to our "Missions". All of our missions are completely run by locals, with occasional visits from people from other parts of the world.
