Tasmanian Wedding

by

On Saturday 28 April people came from near and far to celebrate the marriage of Heather King with Gerry Betts beside Waverley Lake near Launceston, Tasmania. The groom and his best man arrived by helicopter while the bride arrived with her dress covered over with a beige sheet. Heather is definitely NOT a beige person and all were relieved when she uncovered to expose her beautiful pink dress!

Big crowd of witnesses with a lot of visitors from the mainland and almost every Tasmanian saint. Reception was a “real” breakfast with juice, cereals, bacon and eggs and the works. Enjoyed by all!

And then at 1.11pm (Gerry is very organised!) the helicopter returned to take them on to their honeymoon. (Destination Top Secret — the bride didn’t even know where). A very entertaining and enjoyable day and we know that the Lord will bless this marriage as Gerry and Heather keep looking to Him.
