Holy Spirit moves in Camiguin Island, Philippines
by Talks Team
Camiguin Island is a small island in the Philippines where Liezel baptized a local called Jede some time ago. The purpose of this trip was to provide support to Jede in spreading the ‘Gospel of Jesus’.
Day 7 – Ferry Trip to Camiguin
Grounded for two days due to a Typhoon and engine problems on a ferry to Camiguin we began telling passangers our testimony. A lady (Jovi) was travelling to Camiguin to attend the funeral of her father. Jovi, along with two others, received the Holy Ghost on the ferry.
Day 12 – Pentecost at Jede’s place
Five people were filled with the Holy Ghost at a meeting held at Jede’s place and another two others were praying to receive as well.
Day 14 – A lady’s prayer
A lady filled with the Holy Ghost at Jede’s place had no food for her family. Feeling helpless she prayed (in tongues). She rejoiced after obtaining sufficient rice to feed her family that day.
Day 17 – Drowned boy lives, 11 baptisms
We invited all those filled with the Spirit that week to a pool. Whilst at the pool, a boy (Rowal), 4 years of age, got into trouble and drowned at the pool. We prayed quietly in tongues as Rowal lay lifeless for 25 minutes while others tried to revive him.
Eventually Rowal was transported to the hospital with Jede driving and was revived. Normally a person without oxygen for 10 minutes will become brain dead and death occurs after 15 minutes. The only symptoms Rowal has now are navel problems. Rowel is currently the talk of the town!
A man Benji (Jovi’s husband) whom we had only met that day (not yet Spiritfilled) was baptised that day followed by 10 others. One of the ten, a woman, wanted to be baptised with everyone else but was hesitant as she was suffering from a severe flu problems. Putting God to the test she was baptised – and was instantly healed. She stayed happily in the water for another 30 minutes rejoicing!
We asked Benji why he had got baptised. He told us because he could think clearly. We asked Jovi what Benji meant by this and Jovi told us that Benji had been an alcoholic who stumbled around the house and couldn’t talk or walk straight. Benji had no intention of going to the pool that day nor did he have any intention of getting baptised, but God worked a miracle and softened his heart while healing him of alcoholism. He can now think straight!
Amazing signs and miracles!

It is really exciting to see the word going out in the Philippines, with the The Lord confirming His word with signs following. Psalm 67. Amen
Brilliant
We are called to preach the gospel and God will give the proof.
We need to plant and water and God gave the increase
All the Best Phillipines
Wonderful news. It’s great having a God that changes and transforms people lives by the power of the Holy Spirit and that the word of God does not go out and return to Him void. May God bless the Philippines with more revival.
Mark 16:15-20 (KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
We are sent to preach in all the world,we are His disciples, and we are not powerless, we will heal the sick, speak in new tongues, and much as we bring the Gospel to the far corners of the earth. Because Jesus, who has all authority in heaven and on earth. (Matt. 28:18) has given us this commission and the authority to fulfill it, with signs following.
