Variations on a Theme

Message from Pastor Simon

At the recent pastors meeting held in Melbourne this year we discussed putting a more contemporary and obvious face to the world.

The logo above and the variation on the name to “Revival Centres Church” are the result of a great deal of discussion and careful consideration of our past, present, and future. The final results have been viewed by many generations!

Please understand that we are still “Revival Centres International” officially. There is no requirement to change bank accounts or the like but to rather to use these updated images where helpful. Use them on pamphlets, websites, T-Shirts, wherever – like trademarks.

We have used “Church” so that people know more clearly what we are. Although “international” was removed, this is complemented by adding the world image behind the RCI horse.

Original logo

Where appropriate the original logo may still be used and seen as a part of RCI.

Our website and other materials and places will be updated over the coming weeks.
God Bless

Questions and Answers

Q. Why is it black? A. It can be, and will be, various colours, depending on need.

Q. Is it copyright? A. Yes, both the new logo, and the original logo remain copyright, for use by Revival Centres assemblies and their members.

Q. Are there higher resolution versions too? A. Yes, being developed now. Available soon.

Q. How do I get a copy? A. Assembly pastors have been sent multiple versions. (Mission assemblies are being handled by the mission liaison pastors).

Q. Why is the name changed? A. See statement above.

Q. Why does the website still have the original logo and name? A. We want to think about the colour and style to use on the website some more. We want to test it on mobile phones and tablets too.

Q. What about Twitter, and YouTube and UStream and… ? A. Yes, all of those. Over the next little while…

Q. I hadn’t heard anything about this? A. The pastors made the decision in March, and materials have only been ready recently. We advised assembly members by our FaceBook Members Only page. If you are a member of the Revival Centres, you can join that here: Revival Centres Church Members (closed group for members). Both members and non-members can “like” our Revival Centres Church Facebook page here: Revival Centres Church Page.

Q. What do you call the logo? A. We refer to as “the herald”.

The Revival Centres Church was established after World War 2 in Australia, and has since grown into having assemblies around the world. We believe God is still answering people directly and personally today.
