Young Revivalists’ Camp 2026 — The Lord’s Work The Young Revivalists came together during the first week of the school holidays for a week of fellowship, fun, faith and growing together at Bayview Adventure Camp in Grantville, overlooking the beautiful Western Port Bay.

With Senior Camp running from Saturday to Thursday, followed immediately by Junior Camp from Thursday to Sunday, it was a full week of activity as young people from Tasmania, Queensland, South Australia, Geelong, Bendigo, Morwell and the three major Melbourne centres came together.

This year’s theme was “The Lord’s Work”, based on Ephesians 2:10, and throughout the week the young people were encouraged to consider what it means to serve God and live out their faith.

Senior Camp

The Seniors kicked off the week with a packed program of activities, challenges and fellowship. There was something for everyone, including laser tag, high ropes, archery, craft, team-building challenges, an escape room, the Great Tea Race, a Japanese tea ceremony, volleyball and ice cream towers. The varied program gave everyone the chance to get involved, with plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves, work together and try something different.

The Seniors also had the opportunity to take a much more active role in the spiritual side of camp. Young people wrote and delivered their own talks, led choruses and participated in the meetings themselves.

There were a number of memorable messages throughout the week, including the creative reminder to “Be a Nappy” — absorbing God’s Word and making sure it doesn’t leak back out! Other talks explored the history of the Bible, trusting in the Lord, and the three values of being patient, joyful and kind.

Perhaps most importantly, the Seniors were given the opportunity to take ownership of their own faith. Rather than simply being spectators in the meetings, they were encouraged to participate, share what God had been teaching them and consider how they can do the Lord’s work in their own lives.

Junior Camp

As the Seniors returned home, the Juniors arrived at Bayview on Thursday and hit the ground running with laser tag. The Juniors had their own packed program, with activities including Possum Glider, archery, craft, soccer and Minute to Win It. The Juniors threw themselves into the activities with plenty of enthusiasm, making the most of the weekend to have fun, build friendships and try something new.

They also shared in the meetings, learning more about God’s Word and what it means to put their faith into practice.

A Generation Growing Together

One of the most encouraging parts of Young Revivalists’ Camp was seeing young people stepping up and taking responsibility.

The older Youngies were not simply participants — they were leaders and role models for the next generation of children in the Church. They helped lead activities, encouraged younger kids, served behind the scenes and demonstrated what it looks like to take responsibility for others.

At the same time, the Juniors had the opportunity to see young people only a few years older than themselves serving God and leading by example.

Across both camps, the focus was not simply on having a fun week away. It was about building relationships, developing faith and encouraging a new generation to take ownership of their walk with God.

From Tasmania to Queensland, South Australia and across Victoria, young people came together as one group — sharing meals, playing games, learning from God’s Word, encouraging one another and making memories that will last well beyond the week.

The Young Revivalists returned home tired, happy and encouraged — with new friendships, new memories and a renewed desire to continue doing The Lord’s Work.
