Queensland Rally – Gold Coast

The Rally has started.  The theme for the Rally is “Power On” and with fine voice, the Rally kicked off with a rousing chorus session, items and a skit from the Children Camp 2013.

The first 2 talks were from Pastor Edward (Townsville) speaking on the “Power with David” followed by Pastor Martin (Newcastle) speaking on the “Power of Elijah”.

The hall is full and soon it will be standing room only.

The afternoon outreach of beach volley was a contest for the fittest, with others cheering their team onto victory. The event attracted observers and many were spoken to.

The night Rally was one of fine entertainment, a Missions presentation, a play on “Where is Harry” – very good, made us all think – about addictions, and the freedom God has given us by the Holy Spirit.

Ally’s group ended the entertainment with ’Holy Ground’, with the final Rally song from the Gold Coast assembly.

A great night of fellowship.

Today, Sunday has started with our Communion meeting.  Pastor Simon Longfield speaks, encouraging all to see the power that God has already bestowed on us by the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:8: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
