Once again folk from the United Kingdom, Poland, Italy, and Australia gathered in Vales in Northern Italy, for the annual summer camp.

It was wonderful to catch up with everyone again. To share stories, testimonies, ministry, pray, sing songs together, and, of course the occasional macchiato to quell the jet-lag of travel.

With Pastor Konrad and Lucia at the helm, combined with the efforts of the local Italian crew, it was full steam fellowship in one of the most picturesque places that RCC hosts a camp.

A wonderful moment in the camp was the baptism of Jessica, Pastor Pino’s daughter – her face beaming with joy was a sight to behold! A reminder that this is what it’s all about!

It was also a delight to meet our newest converts in Europe from Holland who were recently baptised by Pastor Konrad. A wonderful couple that were so thrilled to be a part of the movement of the Holy Spirit. It was their first European camp and they were keen to absorb and be involved in the fellowship! They are relatives of the Sagar family in country Victoria, Australia.

As well as the challenging hikes up some very steep mountains and rides in cable cars for those less inclined, a highlight would have to be the outreach held down in the local town of Brixen. Once again Pastor Carl, armed with his guitar and loads of enthusiasm, led the charge and quite a few locals and tourists were spoken to about the Gospel. It was great!

As is traditional, the camp ended with a concert at the “Hoff”. There again, a number of people were witnessed to as they approached wondering who we were!

As for next year, it’s not definite yet, but the camp will probably move to Poland – perhaps we’ll see you there!

God Bless
