Our NSW Kids Camp for 2024 was held at Camp Elim, just outside of beautiful Forster. We had beautiful sunny days and cold nights. There were around 40 people (a mixture of adults and kids) – with our littlest people still in high chairs – through to our senior high schoolers.

We were lucky enough to be joined by 10 people from New Zealand which was just fabulous, and people came from Goondiwindi, Dubbo, Mudgee, Newcastle and Sydney.  Each day is busy at camp – there were prayer meetings, a morning and an evening meeting. Kids were leading choruses, playing music, opening in prayer, taking notes and really getting involved.

We went to the sand dunes, had an epic slime war, did hours and hours of craft, campfires, martial arts, basketball, volleyball, beach swimming, giant swings, archery and all kinds of board games.

It’s been a terrific way for everyone to connect, enjoy each other’s company and focus on our theme for 2024, which was from Nehemiah “The Joy Of the Lord is My Strength.” A big thank you to all of our volunteers, and to our New Zealand contingent for travelling all the way over to see us. We can’t wait to see you all again next year!
