We had our first concert for 2025 at The Box on Saturday 17thMay. It was held in the Dining Room with a full house including a large number of visitors. What an amazing range of musical genres, but all with a very professional flair!

Temple of the Son began the concert with an 11 minute song-composite that set the level of quality from the start. Beautiful words about our amazing God coupled with stunning harmonies and complex backing from a range of electric instruments. This was followed by a much gentler duet/ song from Tiana D and Pastor Justin L backed by acoustic guitars. Then Tiana performed a solo of her favourite hymn plus others.

The concert went from quiet ballad type songs to real toe tapping 80’s style music with the group, The Jubilation. This was their first performance and had everyone moving to the beat for their four songs. They said that they had a few technical difficulties but I am sure most didn’t worry. Then came the layback Joel H’s group “Many or Few” which featured blues songs with his gravelly voice, coupled with a moody blues backing.

Graham A followed, playing a solo acoustic guitar.  He sang four of his own songs that had the whole audience hushed so they could hear each word and note.

The last group was Infinite Fire. The volume increased markedly and the impact was perfect! Keyboard, electric guitars, drums, base and singing all in harmony. The songs ranged from loud prog rock to ballad and were composed by either Neil Morse or the band.

Great night of amazing talent, outreach and munching on finger food while drinking fresh coffee. Perfect!
