This Sunday we had 60 people booked for a seated High Tea in the dining room at the Box Hill Hall starting at 11.30am. The aim; to raise funds for the Young Revivalist’s camp in regional Victoria this September.
The happy folks enjoyed finger sandwiches of smoked salmon and chicken, mini quiches, scones, chocolate mousse, baked cheesecake and caramel eclairs.
There was a selection of teas and coffee, which was ably served by some of the Young Revivalist’s themselves… the boys dressed in white business shirts and bow ties and the girls sporting black aprons. The mood in the dining room was one of contentment and pleasure.
Due to the huge success of this event, we intend to repeat it next year! The money we raised will be used to help offset the cost of sending kids to the camp.
