We’ve just closed the doors at RCC Hawkes Bay after a wonderful weekend of ministry and fellowship.
From the outset Pastor Adrian introduced the theme “Heavenly Vision” which was taken from the book of Hebrews. What followed, were two days of ministry, singing, items, outreach, fellowship and of course – coffee!
On the Saturday morning two outreach areas were targeted. Napier in the north, and Hastings to the south, where we handed out leaflets and chatted to people that were out and about on the New Zealand long weekend, encouraging them that they too can embrace a “Heavenly Vision”. Many seemed to be very concerned about the state of the world – and rightly so! It was wonderful to be able to expound that the answer God has provided is available, and powerful!
On the Sunday, prior to the main Communion meeting, the Pastors and leaders gathered and chatted about many things. The sense of unity and direction to continue preaching the Gospel on both sides of the “ditch” (so called), was palpable!
As has become a tradition, the “battle of the bands” finished the Sunday meeting program. As expected, the local Hawkes Bay crew didn’t disappoint as things wound up towards a full-on “power chord” finale!
Great times were had, the theme that we all must grow our “Heavenly Visions” shone brightly.
Thank you RCC Hawkes Bay, next year the cloud moves north to Auckland.
God Bless.
Pastor Simon
