Saints gathered for Christmas Camp in Hanmer Springs, located a 1.5 hour drive north of Christchurch, New Zealand.  We spent the week nestled away in the countryside, surrounded by picturesque mountain views; close to the town that was bustling with people.

The theme of camp was ‘Let There be Light’, taking us back to the beginning of time and creation.  Each day we had a prayer meeting, encouragement by the ministry, musical items and fellowship. Accommodation was on-site at the Hanmer Springs Forest Camp and was fully catered by the saints.

In our free time we played games, volleyball, table tennis or sat around chatting with a cup of tea in hand.  Most days we’d hit up the local cafés, shops and enjoyed mango smoothies with our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

A huge effort was made by those who organised camp.  Many thanks to the South Islanders for hosting camp once again!
