As the Blantyre section of the African Pastors Conference ended, yesterday we held a Youth Rally, also in Blantyre. Halfway through the opening morning talk, the question was asked if there were any people attending who had not yet received The Holy Spirit.

The response was that there were quite a few including some adults who had come to listen as well. We immediately held a prayer line and we are happy to report with exceedingly great joy that 55 young people received The Holy Spirit on the spot.  A number of the older people who had come to see and hear also received the Holy Spirit.

The talks for the rest of the day were abandoned and we headed off to the other smaller hall to baptise around 37 people who had not yet been baptised.

Afterwards, we returned to the main hall to review the wonderful experience they had received that day.  Pastor Victor explained the importance of using the access to God through using the Spirit in prayer everyday.  A few saints stood and shared their experience, and the benefits of receiving The Holy Spirit.

The Lord was gracious and demonstrated how simple, childlike faith is all a person needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Praise The Lord for the opportunity to be present and take part in what God is doing.
